As in 1:1 play therapy, the safe, confidential space is equipped with a range of toys and creative media. 

Following a referral process and individual parental consent, group play therapy takes place weekly, over an agreed period, in the same room, at the same time.

• Groups of between 4-6 children, aged 3 to 7 years
• Six week therapy period
• Sessions last up to one hour
• Reasons for each child’s referral are similar, to allow for a shared focus within the group
• A review meeting is held with each parent/carer towards the end of the therapy period.
